Under the Arctic Research and Policy Act (ARPA), the US Arctic Research Commission biennially recommends key goals and objectives for the US Arctic Research Program Plan. The goals report was released after the Commission collected substantial input from scientific researchers, policymakers, and the public in Alaska, throughout the United States, and in the growing number of nations with Arctic interests.
