A total of 3836 schoolchildren from Krasnoyarsk were examined to study the physical development quotient. The schoolchildren's major anthropometric indices were comparatively analyzed from 1972 to 2006. The bulk of the children were found to have disharhomic physical development types, the proportion of such children tends to increase with age. There was a shift of a sudden growth change to a later period. The revealed tendencies suggest that there are negative growth and development changes in the children and adolescents of Krasnoyarsk under the present-day conditions.
