A study was made into the changes in the content of medium-size molecules, the leucocytic index, radio of segmentonuclear neutrophils to lymphocytes, sorption properties of erythrocytes in 83 patients with stages I-II and III-IV cancer of the ovary before and after the treatment. The level of the endogenous intoxication was found out to rise with the extent to which the pathology has spread. The changes described get more pronounced with special treatments being administered.
