The major hygienically unfavourable factors in gas extraction industry include air contamination with natural gas components and its processing products, noise overload, exceedingly high (in summer) and low (in winter) temperatures at working sites. Primary health and environment related preventive measures should include the introduction of the most advanced techniques of purification of raw gas, exhausts into the atmosphere including hydrogen sulfide, sulphur dioxide and hydrocarbons, as well as further modernization of the technological equipment used with particular emphasis on the hermetic properties of separate devices and pipelines.
