Changes in the nature of metabolic processes of inhabitants of the North in different seasons and years involve a major element of adaptive behavior, and it is connected with the maintenance of homeostasis. Long contact with cold air (even when using protecting gloves) at very low temperatures can stimulate essential rearrangement of hemodynamics. In this connection we suspected that the effect of cold of long duration (days, weeks) can cause fluctuation of a number of biochemical parameters of blood.
